The annual meeting of the COST Action PRECISION-BTC-NETWORK (Management Committee and General Meeting) to be held jointly with the binnnial ENS-CCA conference.
This meeting will focus on biliary tract cancer, covering a wide range of topics including adjuvant treatment, immunotherapy, biomarkers for patients’ selection, the role of artificial intelligence in guiding treatment choice, discussion of the data from the large international European registry on bile duct cancers, development of novel therapeutics with a focus on targeting the microenvironment and the immune system.

The Monothematic Conference Liquid Biopsy in BTC: from bench to bedside will be held jointly with the annual meeting of the COST Action Precision-BTC Network (Management Committee and General Meeting). This meeting will focus on biliary tract cancer, with a major aim to consolidate current knowledge and to draw a roadmap towards the adoption of liquid biopsy as a key tool in the diagnosis and personalized treatment of biliary tumors. Additionally, the conference aims to discuss the latest findings related to epidemiology, new therapies, artificial intelligence and preclinical models for the development of new drugs for patients with biliary tumors.

The theme for this year's conference is: 'Cholangiocarcinoma: A Fairer Deal, Faster – RETHINKING LIVER CANCER'.
The conference will focus on tackling health inequalities in cholangiocarcinoma diagnosis and treatment, building on insights from AMMF’s data project. An international faculty of some 40 speakers will discuss key challenges in earlier diagnosis, multi-disciplinary assessments, and specialist referrals, all of which influence patient outcomes.
