The Department of Liver and Gastrointestinal Diseases at the Biogipuzkoa Health Research Institute, led by Prof. Jesus Bañales, is looking for postdoctoral candidates interested in applying for a postdoctoral contract in calls for proposals at the national (Sara Borrel, Juan de la Cierva, Postdoctoral AECC, etc.) and international (Marie Curie, EMBO, FEBS, etc.) levels. 

The position focuses on liver diseases, such as esteatohepatitis linked to lipid metabolism disorder and primary liver cancers (hepatocarcinoma and cholangiocarcinoma), exploring the aspects of pathogenesis, immunobiology and responses to new therapies from both an in vitro and an in vivo perspective.
