The Liver Growth & Cancer Lab (led by Dr Luke Boulter) are seeking a Research Assistant. The postholder will support ongoing work in the group understanding the role of inflammation in polycystic liver disease, led by Dr Scott Waddell and will use a range of experimental techniques to answer scientific questions. Other duties will include contribution to other related projects within the group when necessary, as well as general lab development and maintenance.
The MRC Human Genetics Unit is part of the Institute of Genetics and Cancer (IGC). This partnership with CRUK Edinburgh Centre and Centre for Genomic and Experimental Medicine Centre aims to understand development and disease by using the latest developments in genetic, genomic, cellular and clinical science.
