
The Tumor Microenvironment Plasticity and Heterogeneity group at the Institut d’Investigacions Biomèdiques August Pi I Sunyer (IDIBAPS) in Barcelona, Spain is announcing a new PhD opportunity!
Under the co-supervision of the Precision-BTC Network’s own Dr Silvia Affò and Dr Alejandro Forner, selected candidate’s will work on the role of cancer-associated fibroblasts in immune evasion and therapy resistance in biliary tract tumors (research line: Deciphering the Immunosuppressive Role of Cancer-Associated Fibroblasts in Biliary Tumors). Through this 48-month program, they will benefit from interdisciplinary training, mentorship, internation and intersectional secondments, and the chance to make a real-world impact from bench to bedside.
This opportunity is within the framework of the Doctoral program Yielding Novel Advancements in Medicine and Innovative Solutions (DYNAMIS) program, co-founded by the European Union.
The DYNAMIS program is designed to attract and rigorously train 10 outstanding researchers in translational medicine, addressing real-world medical challenges. Each selected researcher will undertake their PhD project implemented in a vibrant training and career development environment.
