New DELPHI Survey: CCA - Status quo, unmet needs and priorities Action Leaders Seek Consensus on Research Needs & Priorities
In preparation for a new updated manuscript on Cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) to be published in Nature Review Gastroenterology & Hepatology, Precision-BTC Network Vice Chair Dr Chiara Braconi, WG2 Leader Dr Pedro Rodrigues, and International Relationship Coordinator Dr Jesus Banales have prepared a DELPHI questionnaire to establish expert consensus and define research priorities.
This survey has already been shared with numerous renowned researchers in the field on the basis of their expertise.
To get to the heart of the matter, this survey is divided into eight sections which together encapsulate the most relevant themes of inquiry. These are: Epidemiology & Risk Factors, Clinical Presentation, Diagnosis & Staging, Genetics, Tumour Biology, Biomarkers, Treatment, Supportive Care, and Future Research. With this information, generously provided by the expert panelists, Drs Braconi, Rodrigues and Banales will surely produce an important reference work. Stay tuned!
