Two Cancer Research UK-funded positions are currently open within the Liver Growth and Cancer Lab (LGCL), led by Luke Boulter, at the Institute of Genetics and Cancer, University of Edinburgh. Bioinformatician
This is a 24-month position (in the first instance) with a salary range of £34,610 to £39,906. The candidate will act as a critical member of a predominantly wet-lab team, applying previous experience in analyzing omics datasets—including single-cell, spatial transcriptomic, and proteomic data—to various liver disease and cancer projects.

Post-doctoral Research Fellow
This is a 36-month position (in the first instance) with a salary range of £41,064 to £48,822. The researcher will develop a program of work in ductular regeneration/metaplasia, biomechanics, and/or cancer initiation. Applications are encouraged from candidates wishing to work in cholangiocarcinoma, pancreatic ductular adenocarcinoma, or a combination of the two.
